Fearless Mind Bootcamps
Dr. Craig Manning is a Human Performance Scientist and author of The Fearless Mind. An Adjunct Professor of Performance Psychology at BYU for over fifteen years, he is also a Mental Performance Consultant for Brigham Young University. With experience as a professional athlete, Division 1 Collegiate coach and a PhD in Performance Psychology Dr. Manning has found that the key to success is in how well an individual, team and organization uses their mind. His clients include the Milwaukee Bucks, Cleveland Cavaliers, US Ski and Snowboarding teams, Red Bull High Performance, and a list of professional athletes that have competed at the highest levels across the world.
He has put together several separate one-day boot camps to help individuals develop mental toughness that leads to success in athletics and life. Madie Siddoway Gates, a certified Fearless Mind instructor will be teaching these boot camps. Madie is a former 4-year letterman soccer player and captain from BYU, having played soccer since the age of 8. With a wealth of experience and knowledge from her competitive soccer playing career, Madie brings a high level of application to the Fearless Mind principles of high performance.
The 4 hour one day boot camp addresses specific skill sets and the corresponding skills. The boot camp is designed to address the science of high performance one layer at a time, building skills that are deliberately designed to build human potential.
EACH BOOTCAMP RUNS FROM 8 AM - NOON AND WILL BE HELD IN THE LARGE CONFERENCE ROOM ON THE 3RD FLOOR OF THE STUDENT ATHLETE BUILDING (SAB).

Here's what BYU coaches and athletes are saying about Dr. Manning:
“There is no doubt in my mind that Dr. Craig Manning has helped our student athletes develop skills faster than we could have done ourselves. His ability to teach them what mental toughness truly is, is incredible. He puts an emphasis on human performance and teaches them that it’s in the doing that matters. Dr. Manning has helped our entire team and coaching staff develop more self-belief that has led to increased performances on and off the court.” -Heather Olmstead, BYU Women’s Volleyball Head Coach
“Dr. Craig Manning has helped me improve my mental game as a collegiate athlete and as a professional athlete. He has taught me how take control of my thinking so that I can perform at the highest level. I now focus on the things I can control which gives me the freedom to work through situations on and off the field.” – Ashley Hatch, NWSL/Washington Spirit and former BYU Soccer Two-Time All-American
“Working with Dr. Manning has been an essential part of my success as a football player and person. His work has helped me overcome serious injury and interference.
