Fall & Winter Throwing Camps
Receive throwing instruction from BYU throws coach, Niklas Arrhenius, and a former standout athlete! This multi-week camp will cover all needed off-season training to prepare you to be at your best come track and field season. We will go over all the drills and exercises needed to improve technique and throwing capacity. The first hour of each session will include shot put and javelin, and the second hour will focus on the discus throw.
Bringing your own implements is recommended but not required.
Schedule
Each camp will include two sessions each week, Monday and Wednesday, on the following dates:
Fall Camp 1 (outdoor): September 18, 20, 25, 27; October 2, 4, 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, and 25
Fall Camp 2 (outdoor prior to Thanksgiving, indoor after): October 30; November 1, 6, 8, 13, 15, 27, 29; December 4, 6, 11, and 13
Winter Camp (indoor): January 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29, 31; February 5, 7, 12, 14
You will register and pay for your chosen discipline(s) individually. Each session is one hour in length.
