Javelin Throwing Camp
Spend two days training with one of the nation's best javelin coaches, Niklas Arrhenius. He has coached six NCAA national qualifiers, two All-Americans, and one National Champion!
This is an opportunity to work with members of the BYU Track and Field staff and athletes at a camp that will show you how to improve your javelin throwing abilities. This two-day camp is designed to teach and inform you how to become a better thrower by helping you improve your technique, speed/power, and workout planning.
Held at the outdoor track and field and weight room facilities, you will train and interact with current BYU javelin throwers, and receive quality instruction in all aspects of the throw. You will experience instruction in fundamentals such as approach work, med-ball training, jumps/plyos, lifting, and javelin throwing. The coaching staff will strive to help you improve your javelin skills as well as your speed and agility.
